What you'll do
- You help refine and evolve the overarching data management strategy, and data policies and set refresh cycles
- You contribute to designing, monitoring, and continuously improving the data quality of your data asset(s) in close alignment with the respective business unit(s).
- You implement workflows, data quality KPIs, and related measures on a modern data governance and quality platform
- You consult business units on continuous data evolution and data management measures
- You perform regular data profiling and periodic audits to ensure that data is properly managed in the cloud and on-premise, to ensure that legal and security requirements are met, and to identify data quality issues and their root causes
- You resolve data quality issues in a cost-effective and timely manner, including consideration of service level agreements, and manage and evolve our Data Intelligence Cloud platform, Collibra
Who you are
- You have a good understanding of data governance and management frameworks and related technologies
- You have coding skills in Java, Python, and REST-API Interfaces, and are familiar with Good Coding Practices, including Version Control and maintaining clean coding standards
- You have a background in Software Engineering with experience in Data Modeling - UML diagrams - and a basic understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Functional Programming
- Good Knowledge of Collibra, with a preference for backend expertise
- You are comfortable with BI tools, e.g. Tableau, Power BI
- You are fluent in English and ideally in German
