What you'll do

• You lead the roll-out, upgrade, and optimization of logistics systems in the field of warehousing, yard management, or logistic-related areas e.g. transportation management
• You lead the project planning and set-up, as well as testing and go-live
• You act as a functional lead to IT process managers, application specialists, developers, testers, key users, and vendors
• You gather, provide, and document regular updates and reporting from/to project teams, program management, and other stakeholders.
• You intensively communicate with key stakeholders and steering committees to support active change and adoption management
• You continuously scan for relevant innovations and new technologies to identify further potential for improving processes in the warehouse, yard management, and other related logistic areas

Who you are

• You have a strong track record in (co-)leading IT logistics projects focused on the warehouse, transportation, yard management, or similar experience
• You have strong IT skills in warehouse management systems, ideally SAP EWM and ERP(WM), or in similar fields
• You know how to use various project management methods and tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and MS Project and have initial expertise with agile methods 
• You take responsibility and you feel good about guiding your colleagues to get projects done successfully
• You are a team player with a good mix of business process and IT Knowledge
• You have very strong communication skills and are fluent in English, and ideally German
• You are willing to occasionally travel to Knauf locations on all continents
