EDI Technical Consultant (Solution Architect)(m/f/d)

What you'll do
- You develop concepts and consult on the design, optimization, and harmonization of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes and design proper IT-based solutions to achieve availability and quality targets
- You define technical specifications for SW development (standards, design patterns, test cases, scenarios) and manage the life cycle of designed solutions
- You lead or assist roll-out and improvement projects.
- You act as member of the change advisory board to support the demand and change management
- You actively scan for relevant innovations and new technologies to identify further potential for improvement on current and future EDI systems
Who you are
- You convince with significant experience in the design, implementation, and improvement of IT-based EDI processes and solutions in SAP with focus on SD (order-to-cash) in international and industrial organizations or in a similar field
- You have a deep understanding of classical and Web EDI solutions, related message standards and EDI mapping.
- You are familiar with middleware products, ideally SAP NetWeaver PI or a similar EDI converter.
- You have a good mix of competences in business process, project and service management concepts and tools
- You are a fluent English speaker
- You have the willingness for occasional travels to Knauf locations on all continents
