What you'll do

• Play a key role inside the Central IT in transforming our IT landscape to a scaling and future proof architecture to accelerate the digitization of Knauf
• Advancement of the central structures of the enterprise architecture (including Business Architecture and Application Landscape) for one of our program streams (Marketing, Sales and Service; Supply Chain Management; Finance and Administration; Data and Analytics; Plants and Engineering) 
• Definition of strategic guidelines: architectural principles, target images, roadmaps, application and process maps, etc.
• Close collaboration with the Lead Enterprise Architect, the Vice Presidents for the specific programs and the CIO
• Empowerment of our projects and operations with specific subject matter expertise
• Identification, driving and implementation of continuous improvements, e.g.by establishing architecture governance

Who you are

• Track record as inhouse or external Enterprise or Domain Architect or in a similar field 
• Excellent knowledge in business process management, process architecture, application architecture, software architecture or similar experience 
• Passionate about agile development, continuous improvement and learning
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills at all management levels within IT and towards business
• Fluent English - German is a plus
• Willingness to relocate to Northern Bavaria and occasional travel from there
