Directory Services Engineer
Join our dynamic team of driven and innovative individuals as a Directory Services Engineer. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing directory services and supporting daily operations for domain services as a member of the Active Directory team. You'll contribute to both OnPrem and Cloud environments, providing essential support for the global Knauf Group.
What you'll do
- Manage and oversee Active Directory infrastructure in hybrid mode
- Ensure system stability and update as necessary
- Integrate with external applications
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Provide troubleshooting and 3rd level support
- Create and implement system changes as needed
- Take a proactive approach and automate processes
- Collaborate with various operational teams on a daily basis
- Support projects as required
- Enhance configurations and security measures
Who you are
- You are highly skilled in managing IT infrastructure
- You ae fluent in English (German is a plus)
- Your expertise includes proficient administration of Active Directory infrastructure
- You are experienced in automating tasks and generating reports using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph
- You have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- You are proficient in managing and controlling Domain Controllers backup
- Your knowledge spans MS Server, Active Directory, DNS, and ADFS
- You are familiar with EntraID, Conditional Access, and MFA
- You have a proven track record in troubleshooting AD-related issues
- GPO management, including AGPM, is one of your strengths
- You also have experience with Privileged Access/Identity Management (PAM/PIM), if required
- You possess strong analytical skills and excel in international team settings
- Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are excellent, with a strong focus on service orientation
- You hold a bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering, or possess significant professional experience in the field
- Optional: You are certified in Microsoft Azure, Privileged Access/Identity Management (PAM/PIM), and ITIL Foundation.
