Platform Engineer – Reporting & Analytics

What you'll do
- Define and design IT infrastructure components and platform to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
- Ensure a seamless and intuitive experience for data engineers, analysts, and end-users leveraging the platform
- Drive analysis and continuous improvement of the solution, focusing on performance, availability, cost, and scalability.
- Develop, implement, and manage CI/CD workflows, ensuring their performance, maintenance, and enhancement.
- Continuously improve platform-related tools and the platform itself to meet evolving needs.
- Ensure that services and service levels for the platform are met consistently.
- Operate as a gatekeeper to verify the quality of new functionalities and sign-off implementation results (e.g., with the security team).
- Monitor the platform's performance, perform regular reporting, and identify opportunities for improvements and optimizations.
- Exchange experiences with other system/platform owners and collaborate with Process Managers, Application Specialists, and Solution Architects to seek opportunities for technical and process improvements.
Who you are
- You have comprehensive knowledge in MS Azure platform (networking, private endpoints, deployment, infrastructure as code, etc.)
- You are experienced in following MS Azure services:
- Azure Storage Accounts
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Synapse Workspace
- Optional: Microsoft Fabric
- Optional: Databricks
- You are experienced in design and implementation of CI/CD workflows using GitHub
- You have comprehensive knowledge of SQL and Python
- You are familiar with Infrastructure as Code concept
- You are experienced in scrum and DevOps methodologies
- You are experienced in IT infrastructure topics and processes
- You have ITIL Service Mgt. Knowledge
- You have a university degree in IT or Engineering
- You have distinct ability to work in a team and are open-mindedness
- You are fluent in English, German or Polish are a plus
