What you'll do
Lead coordination and guidance for responding to emerging OT/ICS threats across Knauf’s production environment.
Investigate incidents with Plant Engineers and drive containment, eradication, and recovery plans to minimize production impact.
Proactively remediate risks and strengthen protective, detective, and response capabilities across the production landscape.
Act as a liaison with OT personnel, Plant Engineers, Production teams, and Cyber Defense (Threat Response, CTI & Detection, Offensive Security) to manage incidents and enhance capabilities.
Develop and maintain OT/ICS threat response playbooks, provide secure OT architecture recommendations, and escalate high-priority threats to the Cyber Crisis Team while supporting crisis resolution.
Who you are
Deep knowledge of common threats, attack vectors, and TTPs, backed by strong incident response experience; proficient in log analysis, root cause determination, and threat timeline reconstruction.
2+ years in OT/ICS Security Threat Response, preferably with GRID or equivalent certifications.
Hands-on with OT assets (PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, DCS) and adept at bridging communication between Plant Engineers and Security Incident Responders.
Proficient with cyber defense tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, OT IDS) to detect, investigate, and automate response.
Strong analytical problem-solver and resilient under pressure; collaborative team player in global, distributed environments with a sharp focus on business impact and rapid risk mitigation.
